One day itinerary in Sharm el-Sheikh

Located in the Red Sea region of Egypt, Sharm el-Sheikh offers visitors the opportunity to see the world's oldest functioning Christian monastery, Mount Sinai. It's also one of the best places in the world to go stargazing. There are several other popular sites that are within a 1-3-day trip from Sharm el-Sheikh. Whether you are a traveler looking to relax on the beaches, scuba dive, or go on a safari, there are plenty of things to do and see in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Camel Trail

Mount Sinai is considered to be the site of the Ten Commandments, which is supposed to have been delivered by the prophet Moses. This is a popular destination for stargazing and there are numerous safari tours to the area. You can also visit the monastery in the early morning to see the sunrise. Most tours leave in the early hours of the morning, and will take you to the trailhead in wee hours of the next day. There are also several safari tours that take you into the desert, where you can ride camels or horses.

Another popular attraction is the Colored Canyon. This is a natural attraction that consists of mineral-rich layered rock formations. It's also a good place for hiking. You can also take a glass-bottom boat trip to see the wildlife on the reefs without actually getting in the water.

Several other attractions include the Dolphina Park, which features a dolphin show and Ottoman-style architecture. The Aqua Blue Water Park is also an excellent choice for family tours to Egypt. The park is also home to several pools, games, and water slides. The area is also home to several top cafes and restaurants.

The Camel Trail is a well-worn switchback path that is a popular place to hike. Most tours arrive at the trailhead in the early morning, and will hike up the Steps of Repentance, which are carved out of the rock by a monk. You'll need to book a tour in advance, but most tours will leave the morning and will return to the trailhead in the early hours of the next morning.

You can also visit the nearby coral stretch, called the Straits of Tiran. Tiran Island is just northeast of Sharm el-Sheikh and is known for its coral reefs. It is also home to many species of fish. It is also considered to be one of the top dive sites in the world. It's located at a recreational depth of around 30 meters.

Another popular excursion in the area is the South Sinai Desert, which is a large portion of the Sinai Peninsula. This is where you can take a camel ride, go on a quad bike safari, or participate in other activities such as rock climbing and horseback riding. You can also take a sunrise hike to Mount Sinai for stargazing. It is also a popular place to visit for fishing and snorkeling.
